Score for The High Tower
Rusty from Grey Sand Entertainment asked me to compose some music for their new film "The High Tower". Here's my response! The progression is reminiscent of -Room Three- from a prior work of mine... Completed 20080523: the first new QR audio in a while!

The Eastern Front *LIVE*
An older *LIVE* recording from a show at 1982 in Gainesville, FL. The mix isn't that great but it's gonna make your skin crawl, which will probably freak you out a good bit. Don't worry-- it usually ends when the song does.

Groovy Trip (In An Elevator)
**PURE HONESTY FROM MY BRAIN** Written April 10th, 2007! I have learned to really appreciate this song as one of the weirder works in my portfolio. I think it's just QR being QR.
I had intended on recodring guitar with it, but I think it's supertacular just how it is!

Fur Elise
How QR does classical. Tasty, yes?!

Fashion HATE
Do you hate fashion? Does fashion hate your wallet? I don't care. An industrial dance song that is undeniable tasty.

Demons Eating Skulls
THE TITLE SAYS IT ALL. This song is a favorite of director Michael Pycher for almost three years now! A heavy, guitar-driven masterpiece of CARNAGE!!!
|
The Starfish, the Sea Cucumber, and the Electric Dragon
A remix of a mega jam by Slim Chillingsworth of South Florida's IDM scene! The recipe called for some BADASS and I delivered about a million IU of the stuff. You know you want to hear the story of these magnificient creatures and their card game!
|
Animals That Swim
Sine waves!!! COOOOL!!! By far the POPPIEST track in the collection. This song is so poppy they play it in prisons to cheer up the guards! We're all just animals that are swimming.

.:.: Crescent :.:.
This song is coming up on its third birthday on the 31st of July!!! At one point this song was the opening track of my five-track EP-- how bloody fucking nuts is that?!?! HAHA!
Anyhow, I decided that, considering how much of a downer July 1st was, I should probably feed you something more along the lines of cool whip, so here's the classic in all its original three-or-so minutes of oddball mystique!

untitled thus far
I haven't titled this song because I don't know what to call it (any ideas?). One of my latest works, I focused my efforts mainly on producing the sound I wanted to hear and I would venture to call it a success despite the room I've left for growth. It's largely possible I'll go back to this work and focus more on the composition, which will inevitably lead to further progress with the, uhh... production. I mean how it all sounds, you know? JUST LISTEN.

August 30, 2007
Something I had to get out of my system. I do feel better now-- how nice of you to ask.
|
July 1st, 2007 05:30 is when I realized
things couldn't have been any more different one year ago today. People change and sometimes it hurts. There's more acid in my stomach than I care to digest. There's never enough rain, though... never enough...

NAKED PILLOW FIGHT
Title contribution by local abstract artist Claudio Valdez! Thanks Claudio, you loon. This three-mouvement song features an introduction of EPICNESS, a BALLISTIC DANCE GROOVE, and finally a classical MELTDOWN.
GUARANTEED to mouve you or your face back!!! LOLSFHMHE!!!
|
Facedown In Itchy Grass
A somber interlude about losing a piece of yourself. Isn't life about letting go?
|
III (rv)
An aggressive soundscape of MEGA-DISTORTED guitar, drum WARFARE, synthy WAVES, and orchestral EXPLOSIONS! The original single from my album. This track has since been reproduced for the cd in Kram Nabahc Studios (Gainesville, FL) with the help of producers Christopher A. Kahn and Mark Chaban.

i thought of someone earlier today
she ought to know who she is... but sometimes I wonder if I'm wasting my time thinking about her though... funny...
|
A Decapus In The Society of Octopi
Designed as a story piece on the Animals That Swim album, this short segue depicts the alienation of an octopus that is, in fact, a decapus (he has two extra arms!). What is his crime? What could he have done to deserve exile? All he ever did was love...

Chris Kahn for Dinner
One of the first songs to ever feature my voice! And I couldn't stop myself from laughing! hahaha... Ever want to bludgeon and eat Mr. Chris Kahn for dinner? Me neither, but sometimes I can't stop the demons from consuming.

The Orchestra Has Come Unglued
When I listen to this track I like to imagine I'm inside a huge opera house. I'm sitting about two-thirds towards the rear from the stage and the members of the orchestra are playing this number. I'm thinking to myself, "Man, this stuff tastes GREAT," when a violinist floats up off stage. And then another. And then the conductor and a cello and before you know it the whole orchestra is drifting about the place, the audience mystified with the tuxedos tumbling thru the air.
But they play on...

Music For A Short Film 1
Produced for FSU film student Lauren Bickers' short film sometime in 2004 (I think). Load it into your sound recorder program and play it backwards! AwEsOmE!

I Could Never Figure Out How To Get The Girl I Always Wanted
What a name for a song. This piece was composed for a short film in Miami's annual 48 Hour Film Festival. Whatcha think?!
|
Mad Hip Hop
I can't explain the title so I won't even try. It's, like, a creepy, like... uhh... I don't know.
|
I want my fucking life back
I am so upset and almost don't care about anything. I want my fucking life back. I want A life, period. Whatever it is I'm experiencing now... this can't be what it's all about. This can't be what people try so hard to sustain. I'm so goddamn cold. I dont even really like this "song". 20070930

Practice!
